Neither Black Channel nor Radio Querfunk are are one-hit-wonders on the air, just the opposite - we went on air 8 years ago. During this time Black Channel established a, due to the Internet, even international fan group and the growth of our music archive can only be compared to our increase in enthusiasm to broadcast to surprise you with our music.
The Independent-/Gothicscene doesn ´t live on popular names and danceable music styles such as Electro/Dark Wave alone. As a matter of fact, well known by music scene experts and of course our Black Channel audience in particular, this is only the tip of the iceberg. Black Channel takes you on a journey into the depths of the resonant Noise/Industrial, to the minimalistic and experimental electronic music and the naturally the well known Dark Ambient and Dark Techno styles.
For all friends of Neo Folk and Neo Classic, be aware, that we complement our broadcasts with these two genres as well. In those 120 Min., every 2nd Wednesday, 22:00-0:00 air time, we trust in you to discover the true aspects of our Independent scene. We also rely on you to create your own musical opinion while enjoying our radio show.
